Using This Site FAQ

Please take a moment to review this FAQ section before contacting PatentStorm. Answers to our most frequently-asked questions are provided below, and may save you the trouble of contacting us.

What is RSS? / How can I find out when new patents and applications are available on PatentStorm?

RSS (Really Simple Syndication) is a format that websites use to help users keep track of frequently updated content.

PatentStorm publishes RSS feeds showing the most recent patents and applications in each subject and USPTO class.

For a list of subject and class based feeds you can subscribe to, visit: http://www.patentstorm.us/feed.html

How do I view the figures and diagrams for a patent?

You can download a PDF of the original patent or application filing - including all figures and diagrams - by clicking on the thumbnail image or "View Patent/Application Images (PDF)" link.  This feature is only available for registered users.
