Enhanced photophysics of conjugated polymers A particulate fluorescent conjugated polymer surfactant complex and method of making and using same. The particles are between about 15 and about 50 nm and when formed from a lipsome surfactant have a charge density similar to DNA and are strongly absorbed by cancer... | 06/12/2007
Compositions and methods for capturing, isolating, detecting, analyzing and quantifying macromolecules The present invention provides imprint compositions useful for capturing, isolating, detecting and/or quantifying macromolecules in a sample, methods of making and using the same. Generally, the imprint compositions comprise a matrix material defining an ... | 01/20/2004
댑,2-fucosyltransferase A bacterial 댑,2-fucosyltransferase gene and deduced amino acid sequence is provided. The gene is useful for preparing 댑,2-fucosyltransferase polypeptide, and active fragment thereof, which can be used in the production of oligosaccharides su... | 12/30/2003
Multivalent antigen-binding proteins A multivalent antigen binding protein comprises a single polypeptide chain comprising, in series, two or more single domain binding units which are preferably heavy chain variable domains derived from an immunoglobulin naturally devoid of light chains. Me... | 12/30/2003
PTANS: testis specific proteins expressed in prostate cancer Novel testis-specific genes and encoded proteins (PTANs) are described. PTANs are over-expressed in prostate cancer. The nucleotide and amino acid sequences of three distinct PTAN isoforms, designated PTAN-1, PTAN-2 and PTAN-3 are provided. The PTANs show... | 11/25/2003
Blood-pool selective carrier for lipophilic imaging agents A surface-modified lipoprotein-like oil-in-water emulsion useful as a blood-pool selective delivery vehicle for lipophilic imaging agents or lipophilic derivatives of water-soluble imaging agents. The blood-pool selective delivery vehicle remains in the b... | 11/11/2003
Loading metal particles into cell membrane vesicles and metal particular use for imaging and therapy Delivery of metal particles to living tissue, then applying external energy that interacts with the metal particles, is found to selectively increase the energy deposition and interaction surrounding the metal particles. The method is useful to improve tr... | 11/11/2003
Process and device for the production of liquid, disperse systems A continuous process for the production of liquid, disperse systems is described, which is characterized in that a predispersion is extruded under a high pressure of 6.6 to 250 MPa sequentially over 1 to 8 filter stages of decreasing pore size between 0.0... | 06/05/2001
