...that several people are credited with the invention of the flush toilet? Most people have heard of Thomas Crapper (1837-1910), the sanitary engineer who invented the valve-and-siphon arrangement that made the modern toilet possible. Another claimant to "the throne" was British inventor Alexander Cumming who patented a toilet in 1775. Then there's a nameless Minoan (a native of ancient Crete) who lived 4,000 years ago who supposedly was ahead of his time and created the first flush toilet!

NumberTitleIssue Date
4999191Pasteurella multocida vaccine
Mutogenesis of the Clemson University (CU) vaccine strain of P. multocida with N-methyl-N-nitro-N-nitrosoguanidine resulted in temperature sensitive (TS) mutants which grew at 37° C. but not 42° C. Two mutants, PM#1 and PM#3, were found to provide turke...

4681762Genetically attenuated bacterial vaccines with multiple mutations of the same phenotype
The present invention relates to a vaccine composition for the prevention of infectious diseases comprising an immunogenically-effective amount of a genetically attenuated and stable avirulent bacterial strain derived from a virulent bacterial strain by i...
