Icon_funbox Did You Know...

...that in 1800 ether was first used by partyers as a fun diversion? Sniffing the gas led to hilarious and raucous laughter as people watched each other become more and more intoxicated and silly. Several doctors independently realized the value ether would have to anesthetize surgery patients. Of those who claimed rights to the "discovery," none had a happy ending. One had a seizure and died defending his rights. Another spent his life in an asylum because he had been denied acclaim. A third became addicted to chloroform and, in a New York City jail, he soaked a cloth in the drug, severed an artery and bled to death.

4449234Reverberation apparatus
A reverberation apparatus includes a signal input terminal to be supplied with an input signal, an operational amplifier having an inverted input terminal, a non-inverted input terminal, and an output terminal. The inverted input terminal is connected to ...
05/15/1984
4350845Reverberation apparatus
An apparatus having a plurality of time delays for providing simulated reverberation of an electrical signal representative of sound is disclosed. The time delays are chosen so that delay times of initially delayed signals and reflected signals are logari...
09/21/1982
4119933Mechanical artificial reverberation apparatus
A reverberation apparatus is adapted for mechanical matching characteristics and comprises at least one reverberation unit comprising a plurality of lattice construction systems of coil springs for transmitting sound-frequency mechanical vibrations, each ...
