Energy storer, for reducing drive torque and improving power consumption in a weaving machine In the method, a reed (3) for a weaving machine is continuously driven from a drive means (2) and the kinetic energy of the reed is stored in order to reduce the drive energy. The apparatus comprises an energy storer (1) and a drive means (2) in order to ... | 05/20/1997
Accelerator lever for projectile looms An accelerator lever for quickly accelerating a projectile to a high velocity in a loom comprises a lever arm (1b) coupled to a rotating shaft (2) by a clamping device (1a). The clamping device includes at least two fasteners (4c) extending through holes ... | 07/25/1995
Mechanism for the acceleration of the projectile of a projectile loom The mechanism for the acceleration of a projectile of a projectile loom has a torsion-bar launching mechanism (1) with a striker lever (3) which, at its end remote from the torsion bar (2), carries a striker piece (34) which, during launching, acts direct... | 11/09/1993
Torsion rod type picking mechanism for a projectile loom The picking mechanism has a torsion rod whose zero position is adjustable by an adjusting lever and an adjusting drive. A rigid wedge-shaped intermediate member movable by the adjusting drive is disposed between a sliding surface of the adjusting lever an... | 02/16/1993
Dual torsion bar picking mechanism for a loom The picking mechanism is provided with two torsion bars. One torsion bar is stressed in order to accelerate a gripper projectile of the loom. The second torsion bar, upon release of the first torsion bar, is temporarily connected to the first torsion bar ... | 02/25/1992
Projectile accelerator for a loom A projectile accelerator has a coupling transmission articulated between a cam follower lever and a picking lever which has two end positions. The projectile accelerator also has an eccentric rocker on the drive shaft which cooperates with a tensioning lu... | 11/12/1991
Fiber reinforced plastic accelerating lever for a projectile loom The low-inertia and high-strength accelerating lever comprises a hub part, arm and end part made of a thermoplastics reinforced by high-strength fibers. The lever is built up from a number of layers in the form a Prepregs or semifinisheds, which are place... | 07/23/1991
Firing device for a projectile weaving machine and projectile therefor The torsion bar firing device is provided with a striking lever having an end piece at the distal end which acts directly on the abutment face of a projectile on firing. The striking face of the end piece of the striking lever and/or the abutment face of ... | 05/08/1990
Picking device for the picking motion of a loom A picking device for the picking motion of a loom uses a pull string for delivering the picking energy to a pivot arm which is capable of being tensioned by way of a cam drive. The pull string can in principle be any elongate structure, e.g. a pull string... | 01/23/1990
Torsion bar mounting for a projectile weaving machine The projectile weaving machine is provided with a torsion bar arrangement wherein oil is delivered to a central part of the torsion bar during operation. The oil circuit includes an oil entry in or near the torsion bar mounting and an annular chamber whic... | 01/13/1987
Picking mechanism for a shuttle of a weaving machine A cam drive is used to control the picking movement of the picking lever. The cam drive includes a dam disc which has a recess (or projection) which causes the lever to accelerate at the beginning of a pick and thereafter imparts a prestress to the spring... | 09/23/1980
