Concrete reinforcement structure This invention relates to a reinforcement structure which is used in providing cementitious mixtures supplemental support and strength upon setting, and more particularly, to a reinforcement structure which comprises a plurality of oriented reinforcing fibrous and/o... | 05/22/2007
Arched support structure A support structure and method for forming same for use in excavations such as underpasses, tunnels and the like for roads, rail or rivers. The support structure allows the utilization of the strength provided by using arch shaped sections and also minimi... | 06/18/2002
Joint for pre-cast concrete twin-leaf arch sections A joint for pre-cast concrete twin-leaf arch sections is self-aligning when the two arch sections are initially brought into abutting contact with each other. The joint provides a rigid connection between the twin units and is achieved on site by means of... | 06/12/2001
Biarch-framing member for arched structures A biarch consists of two coplanar arches, curved in the same direction and radially spaced with cross ties having shear rigidity in planes perpendicular to the cross section areal center curve of the arch pair. End ties resist relative tangential arch dis... | 08/12/1997
Patterns for determining the profile of an arch A pattern for defining the profile of an arch is produced from a unitary block of material or materials having the required structural strength to support the arch materials during construction and sufficient ductility or resilience at its surface to acco... | 04/09/1991
Beam with an external reinforcement system A longitudinally extending beam having a concrete upper flange, a web rigidly extending transversely downward from the upper flange along its length, and an arched portion extending between the spaced apart leg portions on the web. A rigid reinforcement m... | 05/23/1989
Tension arch structure A structural system for use in bridges, buildings and other structures. The system supports part of its load by tension action and part of its load by arch action. Cables are stretched and anchored between end supports. Lateral compressive elements are pl... | 11/10/1987
| 3984956 | Casing voussoir A composite casing voussoir of the type constituted by a mass of concrete or like material and a metal reinforcement.
