Zoom lens assembly A zoom lens assembly for a camera includes front and rear lens assemblies and a cam assembly mounted in a cylindrical lens barrel. Rotation of the cam assembly results in axial movement of the lens assemblies and change of the focal length. The cam assemb... | 12/07/1993
Autofocus camera system An infrared ranging system for a battery-powered camera uses a light-emitting diode and associated pulse circuitry for producing a single ranging flash concentrated by a lens into a narrow cone of light generally centrally located in the field of view. Th... | 06/27/1989
Miniature 110 camera with four-panel wrapper A camera has a housing with a multi-panel wrapper adhesively secured thereto. The wrapper is printed on its outer face with markings, indicia or decorations desired. The wrapper has front, top, bottom and side panels arranged to be applied to like walls o... | 01/10/1989
Automatic focus and exposure controlled camera An electrically operated camera is operated automatically from between far-focus and near-focus lens settings responsively to ambient light sensings. The far-focus lens setting is less than infinity. Under strong lighting conditions, the aperture is autom... | 02/23/1988
Shutter release mechanism for automatic cameras A delayed shutter actuation system for cameras providing from pre-flash or ambient light sensings automatic focusing control, automatic aperture control, or both, features a spring-energized shutter slide member coupled to a velocity limiter over an initi... | 08/18/1987
Camera exposure control system A film speed correction circuit for electrically controlled cameras having aperture or shutter speed controlled responsively to ambient light sensings from a photosensor features a controllable multi-stage amplifier preferably interposed between the photo... | 12/17/1985
Camera with turret lens and variable frame viewfinder A lens system for a disc camera features a plurality of objective lenses of different focal lengths carried on a turret support that can be rotated into different stable positions in front of the framing area of the film disc to bring a selective lens int... | 07/16/1985
Electronic shutter for still cameras An electronic shutter mechanism for a still camera comprises a shutter blade, preferably carrying a solenoid armature, urged by a first spring into an initial lens aperture closing position. An initially latched actuating member for moving the shutter bla... | 03/19/1985
Automatic focusing camera A camera is provided with flash lamp means, preferably a single flash lamp, useful for both range-determining purposes, for automatic focus control and/or flash lamp light exposure control, and in response to depression of the shutter release control, gen... | 09/25/1984
Electronic camera with automatic battery shutdown An electronic timing circuit to be used in conjunction with photographic cameras using electronic exposure sensing and electrically actuated signal lights responsive to the exposure sensing causes automatic total electrical power shutdown if the camera is... | 07/17/1984
Disc camera with handle grip cover In a camera adapted to receive a disc-shaped magazine and including a housing with front and rear walls having a lens window exposed on the front wall near one side margin of the housing and front and rear viewfinder windows exposed on the front and rear ... | 05/29/1984
Film advance mechanism for disc camera A disc camera advances a film disc by an oscillating pawl engaging the disc film notches previously used for indexing. The pawl is carried on a member pivotably mounted on the side of the rear film chamber wall remote from the chamber and passing through ... | 05/22/1984
| 4416525 | Autorewinding self-threading camera An electrically driven automatic film advance camera with automatic transition to rewind without external actuation is described.
