...that it was melting ice cream that inspired the invention of the outboard motor? It was a lovely August day and Ole Evinrude was rowing his boat to his favorite island picnic spot. As he rowed, he watched his ice cream melt and wished he had a faster way to get to the island. At that moment the idea for the outboard motor was born!

| 7336073 | Method and system of determining in-plane motion in propeller data The present invention is directed to a method of MR imaging whereby a k-space blade extending through a center of k-space from a subject in motion is acquired. A high-pass convolution of the k-space blade with a reference k-space blade is then determined and convert... | 02/26/2008 |
| 7030609 | Split-blade data collection for propeller MRI The present invention provides a system and method of MR imaging particularly applicable with fast spin echo protocols. Odd and even echoes are used to create separate blades or strips in k-space. Preferably, each blade extends through the center of k-space. The bla... | 04/18/2006 |
| 6853189 | Method and system of quantitatively assessing diffusion characteristics in a tissue A process and system to implement such a process is configured to determine diffusion properties within a region-of-interest. A metric or index of diffusion is determined from individual diffusion values corresponding to diffusion along, multiple diffusion direction... | 02/08/2005 |
