Abstract text

A bag-in-box container system includes a bag, a box, and a mechanism for fastening the bag and box combination. The bag may include a dispensing end with a collar and a groove. The box may have an opening through which a portion of the dispensing end protrudes when the bag is inside the box. A collar in the bag may resist the bag being pulled out of the box through the opening. The fastening mechanism may resist the portion of the dispensing end being pushed into the box through the opening.
