The invention relates to a controlling device for hydraulic consumers (10, 12) with at least one controlling valve (18) for controlling a supply pipeline (T_Reg) for the respective hydraulic consumer (10, 12) and with a tank return pipeline (T_R0). Because the control valve (18) is connected to an additional supply pipeline (T₀) and constructed as a priority valve in such a manner that the supply pipeline (T_Reg) receives priority preference of a fluid supply system over the priority of the tank return pipeline (T_R0), a type of sensor circuit is realized which checks whether, in accordance with the load situation at the hydraulic consumer (10, 12), then is any need at all for a supply flow.
