Claims

1. A reversible sports cap that can be inverted during rallytime at sports events, the reversible sports cap comprising:a crown insert for inserted within a sports cap comprising a crown and bill and sweat band around an interior edge of the crown, the crown insert bearing indicia on a first side, wherein the crown insert is attached to an interior of the crown of the sports cap with a second side of the crown insert facing the inside of the crown of the sports cap and the crown insert attached to the crown by a means for attaching fabric with a bottom edge of the crown insert attached between the sweat band and the crown of the sports cap, so that when the sports cap is turned inside out, the first side of the crown insert is exposed revealing the indicia on the first side of the crown insert.

2. The reversible sports cap of claim 1 wherein the crown insert is attached to an existing sports cap owned by a user and the mean for attaching fabric comprises a strip of adhesive around a bottom edge of the crown insert.

3. The reversible sports cap of claim 2 wherein the strip of adhesive is located around a bottom edge of the first side of the crown insert and the bottom edge of the first side of the crown insert is attached to an inner side of the sweat band of the sports cap.

4. The reversible sports cap of claim 1 wherein the crown insert is attached to a new sports cap and the outer side of the sweat band bears indicia around the sweat band so that the indicia around the sweat band is visible when the reversible sports cap is turned inside out.

5. The reversible sports cap of claim 4 wherein the indicia on the outside of the sweat band indicates rallytime in a sports game attended by a user.

6. The reversible sports cap of claim 4 further comprising indicia on at least one side of the bill indicating rallytime.

7. The reversible sports cap of claim 4 wherein the means for attaching fabric comprises at least one means of attaching fabric taken from a list of means for attaching fabric comprising adhesive attached to the crown insert, adhesive attached to the sweat band, adhesive attached to the interior bottom of the sports cap, stitching between the sweat band and the crown insert, stitching between the crown insert and the crown of the sports cap, a mating hook and loop fastener between the crown insert and the sweat band, and a mating hook and loop fastener between the crown insert and the crown of the sports cap.

8. The reversible sports cap of claim 1 wherein the indicia on the first side of the crown insert indicates rallytime in a sports game attended by a user.
